From one house plant, to enough to start my own small business: It all began with a single leaf, a small pot, and a growing passion for greenery. Before I knew it, my collection blossomed into a thriving little plant family. Each new addition brought fresh joy and inspiration, and soon I had enough to share that joy with others. That’s how Lus-taighe was born—a home-grown houseplant business right here in Glasgow, dedicated to bringing a bit of nature's magic into your home. It's been a journey of growth, learning, and leafy love, and I couldn't be prouder to watch this small dream take root and flourish.
At Lus-taighe, my passion for Scotland runs deep, just like the roots of the plants I lovingly nurture. The name “Lus-taighe” means houseplant in Gàidhlig—a nod to my heritage and a declaration of my commitment to the local community. Every plant I offer is grown with care right here in Glasgow, supporting local growers and crafting a truly home-grown collection. From the soil to your windowsill, I aim to bring a little bit of Scottish charm into your home, proving that even something as simple as a houseplant can carry the spirit of this beautiful country.
